Our company offers CPR, AED &amp; First Aid instruction to corporations &amp; schools. Ideal candidates should be comfortable speaking in front of a group, have prior teaching experience (in any field) &amp; are interested in learning to teach people how to save lives.<\/p>\n<h6>Responsibilities:<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Present high-quality CPR instruction to class participants<\/li>\n<li>Remain in contact with ESI corporate office<\/li>\n<li>Follow ESI Employee Requirements\n<ul>\n<li>Arrive at specified time<\/li>\n<li>Utilize web-based time clock system<\/li>\n<li>Follow ESI\u2019s business casual dress code<\/li>\n<li>Follow manikin cleanliness protocols in class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Must teach on required days pre-announced by ESI<\/li>\n<li>Additional responsibilities may arise including attending staff meetings &amp; program updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>Qualifications:<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Comfortable in front of a group; able to present a confident &amp; calm demeanor<\/li>\n<li>Able to communicate course material in a clear, concise &amp; engaging manner<\/li>\n<li>Background in teaching or performing arts a plus<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Automated External Defibrillators (AED\u2019s) helpful<\/li>\n<li>Successfully complete AHA Instructor Course presented by ESI<\/li>\n<li>Must have a Smartphone &amp; internet access on a daily basis<\/li>\n<li>Able to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Must be attentive to detail<\/li>\n<li>Highly organized &amp; professional<\/li>\n<li>Ability &amp; willingness to carry supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. within an office space &amp; periodically within a school building<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing &amp; able to travel within the 5 Boroughs, Westchester, Nassau &amp; Suffolk Counties and\/or New Jersey<\/li>\n<li>Individuals with a car, valid driver\u2019s license &amp; who are willing to drive to locations in the 5 boroughs &amp; metro area preferred<\/li>\n<li>Qualified candidate must be available during the workweek especially Tuesdays, Wednesdays &amp; Thursdays; there may be opportunities for work during early evenings or weekends<\/li>\n<li>Successful completion of fingerprinting &amp; background check<\/li>\n<li>Maintain successful results from ongoing background checks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<a class=\"sf-button standard accent standard \" href=\"mailto:jobs@emergencyskills.com\" target=\"_self\"><span class=\"text\">Email resume<\/span><\/a>\n[\/boxed_content]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[boxed_content type=&#8221;coloured&#8221; custom_text_colour=&#8221;#000000&#8243; pb_margin_bottom=&#8221;no&#8221; width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243; el_position=&#8221;first last&#8221;] CPR\/AED Instructor ESI seeks highly motivated individuals to join our team of dynamic CPR Instructors.
